Tree Removal

tree-clipart-4[1]The tree removal project is almost finished. Over this period, the office has received calls from both sides of the fence on this issue. Staff assures everyone that the trees removed were determined by the experts at Texas A&M Agrilife as dead, dying, diseased beyond reasonable care, reaching the end of their lifespan or damaging association or owner property. Trees not meeting this criteria are not being removed. To the owners calling the office asking for additional trees to be removed in order to improve your view of the canal, we cannot consider this without the tree meeting one of those criteria. It is important to remind owners that this is part of an overall plan to address water and landscaping issues as laid out by a homeowner committee and approved by the Master Board of Directors. Valley Ranch has a very good board of directors taking active steps to get ahead of what could be a very expensive problem in the future. Water shortages will continue and the association is actively pursuing solutions.
